This is an interface that connects the cars computer(s) to a laptop that can read/write the computer file.  This will still require someone that knows how to adjust the tables correctly without damaging your engine and/or transmission.  We offer a performance tune for nearly every GM car that this will work with.  How that works...  You would get the software for this installed on a laptop, connect the cords to the laptop, key the ignition on, open the editor, click Read VCM, save the file, and if you purchased our performance tune, email it to us for tweaking.  We will then edit the file and email it back, you will then flash it onto your car.  The next step, is to scan it and email us the scan, we will tweak the file further and email you the revised file.

This is only the hardware needed to start remote tuning with us. If you would like us to tune your car you will still need to purchase one of our 1.0 PCM tune files with the "email me a file" under the core charge option.

VCM EDITOR: Packaging VCM Editor together with MPVI2 allows you to read most vehicles control modules flash memory and save it in our proprietary .HPT file structure. VCM Editor enables you to adjust a multitude of complex parameters such as torque strategies, spark tables, fueling, RPM limits, fan activations, transmission shift points and pressures, exhaust valve control, speedometer settings and many more. Finally, you can write these changes back to the various vehicle control modules via the MPVI2.

VCM SCANNER: Package VCM Scanner with MPVI2 and you have the most powerful and comprehensive scan tool on the market. View, chart, and log diagnostic data in real time via the vehicle’s OBDII diagnostic data port. View and clear vehicle Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) along with other vehicle module information. Command control functions like closed loop, fans, gear select, timing, air fuel ratio and so more all in real time. No editor package can be considered complete without comprehensive scan tool capabilities.

Learn how to tune your car yourself, you will learn a lot and save (or spend more) money as well as earn the title of TUNER.

Took me a while to write this review as I was deep in learning the software and honestly once you go down this road, your kinda in it for the fun of it. Buying this through ZZP was a breeze. I bought with two credits to tune my cobalt, and it came when I was in a HUGE emergency to get my car working again, (be careful about modding your daily kiddos). Anyway, came in two days flat, I bought a used windows laptop (look up hp tuners for specs), bought a 10 dollar cable to hook up to my wideband, and I was off to work. I learned everything off forums and YouTube. You can too, it’s not a super big deal, but the potential is so huge. I beat WRXs off the line because I can tune to every part I can install. Even if you get remote tuning through ZZP, they have done the research, they know what they are doing. Cars are complicated beasts that will make you love and hate them but that’s called passion. ZZP and picking up this software really opened my eyes to what being a TUNER was all about and I fell in love. It sucks it’s getting smaller and harder to do with electric cars but it’s People like ZZP and all of us that keep this culture alive with taking street car conveyor belt **** boxes, strapping rockets on them, uploading a file, and taking them to the moon. I write long reviews to help all my peeps, as this has grown into a passion because these fine folks do what they do. Pick up the tune software, do your research and rule the streets.

Amazing Tuning Product

I first started out with a ZZP 1.0 PCM tune, but I decided that I wanted to get more hands on. I love what I've been able to do with HP Tuners. I've shut off trouble codes, dialed in the MAF curve, increased trans line psi for harder shifts, tweaked the timing tables, adjusted idle and rev limit, disabled traction control, etc. But ultimately, I'm just not happy with the stock PCM. The way it handles timing at startup and idle, the lack of ability to adjust the idle air control, the way it makes the engine stumble after revving. I plan on switching to a Holley HP ECU soon.
