Federal-Moguls Speed-Pro® brand uses technology that produces outstanding hardness and thermal characteristics to produce hypereutectic pistons that are the ideal choice for street performance motors, oval-track “claimer” engines, bracket racing applications and moderate supercharged engines.

Manufactured with an exclusive higher-strength FM244 alloy with 16.5 percent silicon finely dispersed throughout the material, Speed-Pro hypereutectic pistons operate with standard ring-end gaps and conventional ring-land locations.

Speed-Pro piston performance is enhanced even more by Federal-Mogul’s DUROSHIELD® skirt coating, which reduces friction, improves horsepower and extends piston life.

8.5:1 compression and uses the L67 or L32 connecting rods.
