The LTG, and all directed injected vehicles from GM, does not come with a fuel filter post tank. While this solution may have worked when new, we have seen a rise in DI injectors and HPFP's failing because of debris. As your car ages and OE fuel system parts degrade, especially exaggerated with the use of ethanol based fuels, your fuel system might not be as clean as you think. One small spec of debris could lead to a locked up HPFP or a stuck open DI injector. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eInstallation is straight forward and simple, with the filter in the engine bay for simple service. Cleaning the filter is easy, just unscrew the filter housing and slide the stainless filter out. Spray down the filter with brake clean and screw back in.
