- braking experience
Smoother braking experience than stock. Looks better, too. Don’t recommend placing on 2.5L naturally aspirated, as it increases rotational mass and slows down acceleration.
Breaks worked out perfect for me.
Big brake kit
I installed this kit on a 2015 Caddy ATS Coupe, Premium edition that came with Brembo 4 piston calipers up front and single piston on the rear. I got the front 6 piston brembo and the 4 piston for rear plus replaced the rubber brake lines with the Goodrige stainless, the improvement is far superior than what the car came with. I highly recommend to anyone that wants a better performance for spirited driving to install the Z23 Extreme brake pads instead of the Z17 that comes with the kit. If you follow the bedding procedure, you will be static with the results. The front rotor will fit with the factory back plate, but I decided to replace it with the ATS V shield for better cooling, GM part number 23336595 and 23336594, right and left respectively. Rear you have a clearance issue with the back plating and rotor, you must trimmed to clear or replace it with the ATS V, GM part number 23316765 and 23316764 for R and L. I did both, trimmed first and replace it for professional touch. ZZP provides great quality product and for the cost and results, you can not go wrong. Keep up the good work. If you have worked on brakes before, this project will be a piece of cake.
Wow! Great upgrade!
Incredible upgrade for your ATS. I use Avante Garde M310 18x8.5 I have about 3 business cards of clearance at the closest point, fills the wheel perfectly. Stopping power once bedded in is incredible. To say this and the rear kit are worth the money is not even close. I've installed and paid over 3k just for a front kit on my M3. To be able to get the whole car done for 2/3 the cost of most front kits and with the performance added if your thinking of adding this kit do it. You won't be disappointed. I'm a paying ZZP customer, so this first review is not affiliated with ZZP (wanted to add that disclaimer).
