This is a bolt on larger mechanical fuel pump for your direct injection LNF, LHU, or LDK engine. This is an absolute must have for any LNF/LHU wanting more than 400whp on E85. We have tested this pump to well over 500 WHP using straight E85, without any indication of a drop in rail pressure all while using the early prototype modified fuel lobe cam, which only had around half the additional 'lift' when compared to our current off the shelf cams.
When coupled with our ZZP cams w/ fuel pump lobe, and Opel injectors, expect enough fuel system to support over 600 WHP on straight E85!
Don't be fooled by others selling off the shelf pumps with an adaptor plate. They have bent, and kinked the inlet line, which is restrictive, and use a wimpy spring which causes the pump to 'float'. ZZPerformance has developed a billet inlet adaptor that clocks the fuel inlet hose to the proper location which not only looks fantastic, it WORKS. We have also developed a new spring, specific to this application to help combat the float issues that others are seeing.
We now carry our HPFP upgrade in two fitments; one for the LNF Cobalt SS, and one for the LHU Buick Regal. If you have a Cobalt SS with an LDK/LHU, you will still choose Cobalt SS fitment. The Regal option pump has the inlet clocked differently to clear the charge pipe. On the Regal you will have to slightly bend your fuel line when connecting.
