During the testing phase we setup an RTA to measure db levels at various frequencies and rpm ranges . Time consuming to say the least but in the end we came up with a solution which we now manufacture in stainless. This is an amazing sounding exhaust while still maintaining a quiet tone when it is ordered with the resonator as a stock replacement. Running this 2.5" catback with a catted downpipe, and resonator option can be quieter than stock and flow restriction free until around 260whp which is the average power for a Stage 3 kit with dual pass endplate, header/downpipe, & CAI. If your goal is to make more than 260whp you will want to upgrade to the 3" catback instead, but that will require cams/valve springs and more to exceed 270whp.

Fits the 2005-07 2.0, 2005+ 2.2 & 2.4 liter Cobalts.

Sounds great easy install

I'll never buy any other cat back from now on. Perfect bends. Prior I had a custom pipe bent with a borla muffler on it and stock RES. Rattled occasionally and was quite loud. Zzps is bent perfectly, no rattles at all . Slip joints were super simple to install. Moderately Quiet at idle, louder and deep when speeding up. All LSJs crackle high RPM range. Great exhaust

Worth the buy

Great sounding exhaust and exactly bolted up which was super nice and easy. Only thing I dont like is when you floor it it does sound kinda weird like raspy. My car is a 2.2 with no engine modifications. Just cold air and tune. Ofher than that give it a few days and the tone will sound amazing. But the exhaust is amazing quality nice welds looks and sounds great.
