Cool pan for a hot trans
Needed to Dona fluid drop on a LeSabre, so I bought the pan and the filter. Did a fluid drop and filter and now when the trans is hot going from neutral to drive doesn't shutter. I hope to squeeze more life outta my daily driver.

Freaking awesome!
I didn’t really see noticeable cooling, but this piece is definitely legit and made VERY well. Love the drain plug!! Makes life so much easier!

Aluminum ATF Pan
Looks to be manufactured of very high quality standards. All holes lined up perfectly. I used a rigid Felpro gasket which required slightly longer than stock 6mm bolts. Early results indicate no leaks but time and multiple heat cycles will tell. So far, I’m very pleased!

It Works!
Bought this for my daughter's car and put it on. BEFORE installing, we took the car for a drive long enough to fully warm the transmission, while I had a scan gauge connected to the OBD II port; I'm reading trans. fluid temp in real time. Fluid was 190+ at cruise and if you accelerated going uphill it would go to 210+ pretty easy. Went home and (full disclosure) I put in a ZZP shift kit, changed fluid and put this pan on. Next morning, hit the road again with a scan gauge reading fluid temp in real time. Cruising temp ~162 to 170; hard acceleration uphill can go to 185-190, but it will cruise at ~165. Pan does 20-25 degree temp drop by scan gauge. I could NOT be happier. Thank you ZZP! This pan, ZZP shift kit, change fluid every 30-40K and there is a very real possibility of doubling trans life. YMMV.

Not a gimmick it works
Definitely recommend this for any level of build for the 4t65e/hd. It isn't a cosmetic upgrade it actually works. While it's off do the while your their modification and get ZZP'S shift kit. All in a good days work just don't bottom out the car.
