In and out in 7 hours by myself. Shipping was great, product was even better. Good quality like everything else and parts fit and rather nice. Everything lined up and went right in. Great addition to the car. Tuning has been a bit of a pain in the *** due to well......... my luck. hahaha. Murphys Law is it..... What can go wrong did go wrong. First i was chasing a vacuum leak all over Then it went to a boost leak. Throw in a few bad sensors and a wasted hpfp. lol. Needless to say its be trying but we are getting thru it. Turbo Tim is a trooper. Im sure im driving this gut to drink hahaha. but hes doing his thing and pushing thru with me. As soon as i fired it up I could already hear and feel the difference. Hopefully the boost leak is no more. List of mods so far. 2013 Ats 2.0T. Basically Stage 1 And Stage 2. Catted down pipe. Magnaflow Exhaust intake cam with fuel lobe upgrade. E85 conversion. cold air. Intercooler. spark plugs catch can still tuning all new vacuum lines and check valves. all new sensors new hpfp and fuel lines
2015 Cadillac ATS Intercooler Upgrade
Just installed the intercooler on my 2015 ATS 2.0. Installation was fairly simple and I completed it by myself in about eight hours. I added this in addition to my ZZP CAI, DownPipe, Oil Catch Can, and performance tune. The quality of the intercooler is very good. There is a huge difference in the size of the ZZP vs. the stock intercooler. Not even sure how the stock intercooler performs not being in the front of the car. I did not receive the 12 washers when I received my kit so had to go to the local hardware store to pick some up. The issues I came across when doing the install was getting the factory worm clamp off of the turbo inlet. Looks like it was installed upside down from the factory so I had to get the Dremel out and cut it off. The only hard part about the install was getting the new charge pipe onto the turbo. I had my son help push from below while I positioned it on the turbo. When I finished the install I went to put everything back together and I could not get the AC lines bolted back to the side of the radiator. The bolt would not match up with the radiator hole so I zip tied it to the AC condenser. I noticed another review mention you cannot get the air diffuser back on and that is true you cannot get this back on so do not waste your time as it does not mention this in the directions. Overall I have driven the car for four days with no issues so far. I cannot tell a huge difference as of yet but it is still relatively cool in Arkansas. Summer time will be the true test. Just a tip when you remove the front bumper there is a plastic piece and a foam piece on the driver side that you can remove to get more air into your intake. I attached a photo for reference.
They have done it once again!
Another great product from the guys a zzp. I could be happier with the fit and quality of the intercooler and like others before me this is a must have I can feel the car running smoother than ever!!
MUST have for the hot states, I'm in Florida. Literally could feel my car thank me. Good mod and a safe one to keep your build pushing. Been running this since 12/19 and no problems tbh. Only had to squeeze the claps up a couple times at most, runs normal besides that. Thanks for this one ZZP!!
The directions where great I definitely feel a difference took a afternoon with 2 people I wouldn't even attempt to try it urself
