A factory LSJ Cobalt or Ion will come with 1 of 2 injector options. 33# or 42#, the factory 33# injector is green in color and the factory GM upgrade 42# injector is black in color. For people with the 33# injectors, these are a slight upgrade, they will be large enough to run a 3.0" pulley on gas. If you have plans to run a smaller pulley, you will want to purchase the 60# injectors instead. Since the LSJ comes with a Multec2 injector connector, you will also need our Ecotec Injector Harness to be able to run any of our larger injectors. Please notice the injector connector picture on this page to determine what harness you will need.
42# Bosch Green Giants will go to 250WHP depending on fuel but are not large enough for E85 builds.
Be careful where you buy this injector as most of what is sold out there is actually NOT genuine Bosch. The problem here is that only the Bosch injectors work in the sub 2ms pulse rate needed for proper idle on a small displacement motor. If you have idle issues and run an injector that looks like this, that is often why.
PCM programming is required whenever your injector size is changed.
These injectors are plug and play and do not require any adaptors or spacers. They are direct replacement.
