High Quality Aluminum!
These are machined very nicely, and they are a PERFECT fit for the Chevy Cruze/Sonic 1.4T. Now I can break 260whp and not worry about the internals cracking apart. Connecting rods are pretty stout from factory for a small motor, no need to upgrade if staying under 260 whp and the condition is good! The pistons are a good safety net for these cars which are KNOWN to Crack pistons even with no upgrades.

Diamond Piston
pistons are great installed working well no issues would buy again

piston upgrade
this upgrade can be done without removing the engine. take great care in installing you can cause damage to the oiler jets at the bottom of the cylinder.

Piston Insurance
A little confusion about the rings gaps but after that everything just fell into place. Its nice to have a little piston insurance in there now. LSPI is no joke! I put these in with no cylinder re-hone and have no blow by issues or vibrations since nothing was rebalanced either. My catch cans only have a little water in them after a week of driving hitting 22 PSI multiple times a day with less than 500 miles on the new rings.
