No bolts
ZZPerformance states you need custom bolts. The instructions provided with the flywheel say that most fidanza flywheels use stock bolts and if not the correct fasteners are provided. I ended up paying $50 for some 96 mm Audi head bolts and shortening them to 30mm and then making some custom 4130 washers to fit snugly in the counter bores . There is plenty of space between the spring hub on the clutch disk and flywheel that it seems the counter boredbolt holes are not necessary. I put a T5 trans behind a LTG and the clutch disk has tobeinstalled backwards to fit the input spline and there would still have been room to not need the recessed bolts
Fidanza lightweight flywheel
Looks good feels good, revs higher/faster etc. after initial install drove the car around my shop and then I could not get the car in gear, clutch felt fine just could not get in gear. I shut car off and could put in gear so I started it while in gear and off the clutch and broke free, seemed to have gotten stock somehow but since then awesome clutch holds a lot of HP. buy again? yes
Great product!
Yet another great product from the team at ZZP. Installed with the Stage clutch and a big improvement over stock.
