This is our 2nd generation billet aluminum with solid rubber bushing mounts. Using a solid rubber bushing keeps them from creating vibration like the poly mounts have from being too stiff however they still drastically reduce wheel hop. These mounts are lighter than stock and are a great upgrade. These mounts are used in the hardest launching Cobalt, HHR, & Ion Redlines in our market including Ryan's 06 which has achieved 1.5 60' times and Matt's LNF, which has done 1.6 60 foots.

Will not work on 2004 Ion Redline, Ion 2.4L, or 2.2L cars. Will not work on automatic cars.

Torque Specs: Mount to cradle 66 ft lbs, mount to bellhousing 74 ft lbs each

Weight difference: Stock 2.2#, ZZP 1.65#

Quality parts!

First off I have to say, these parts are expertly machined out. The shop I work at can't touch the same quality and we build show cars! Took a little finagling to get the spacers in just right but nothing a seasoned car enthusiast can't handle. As always, can't go wrong with anything from ZZP.

So I just installed my front trans mount and rotated rear trans mount gen3 and well so far when I turned the car for the very first time there was a huge Vibrating movement in the engine. Then I let the car sit, and my dash board started to vibrate a lot. Once I decided to drive the car the vibration started to fade away but every time I come to a stop and take off the vibration starts once again. Then there’s a big vibration when I rev the car in neutral. I’m not sure if it’s because the parts need to break in or that’s just how it is ? The pros are the car drives smooth after 1st gear.
