This stainless clutch line is a big upgrade over the stock rubber/plastic line. Stock lines tend to bulge and disform when used with stronger pressure plates found on aftermarket clutches. This replaces the line from the clutch master cylinder to the clutch elbow. You will need to retain the end of the stock line that connects into the master cylinder. 

We recommend replacing this line when doing a clutch job on your Cobalt SS (2.0 LSJ or LNF). Does not fit Ion Redline.
