LNF Lower Intercooler Pipe

Intercooling - LNF Lower Intercooler Pipe
Intercooling - LNF Lower Intercooler Pipe

  • 2.5" Intercooler pipe
  • MAF block off plate
  • MAF extension
  • MAF plate screws
  • silicone couplers
  • T-bolt clamps

This is a replacement aluminum pipe that will connect the intercooler to your throttle body. It has provisions to relocate the MAF sensor into it to convert the car to a "blow through" MAF instead of the factory MAF location in the air intake which is called "draw through" It also relocates the MAP sensor. It comes with multiple bolt holes for the stock MAP or the GMS1 sensors so you can run either with no modifications. It comes with a MAF block off plate and extension that will either be mounted in the air intake MAF hole or in this pipe to keep the original MAF location. No tuning is required if you leave the MAF in the intake location, but if it is relocated into this pipe the PCM will require a PCM Update for the MAF location change.

This part is also compatible with our LNF turbo upgrade kit, so you will not need to upgrade this part ever again.

Fits LNF Cobalt(manual & auto trans) and HHR(manual & auto trans).

TMAP is relocated to the vertical pipe leading to the throttle body. Nothing rubs! You will have no TMAP sensor interference issues with the ZZPerformance charge pipe!

Maf plate doesn't line up with screws

The silicone couplings aren't at the best angles and the maf block off plate screws don't align with holes.

Lower charge pipe has wrong angle to connect to intercooler

This pipe is the a big pain to put in. Instead of it having the 90 degree angle it needs to have. It has a 45 degree angle where the pipe connects to the intercooler. I know I’m not the first here to say this. So buy with the idea already in your head that this will not bolt up like your stock pipe came off. It takes force and patience to get this in. Still not happy with this pipe but it’s what I could find for the job. I have to say this is the first disappointment from zzp. I hope this is something that can be addressed and rectified in the future.

To the gentleman with the only negative review, complaining about the installation time, and disassembly of a few front end parts... If you a DIY enthusiast like a majority of us on here that purchase from ZZP. Of course you would remove the front bumper and loosen up the intercooler for the install of the mentioned upgrade??? Lol Part don't miraculously put themselves on our vehicles. If that's what you were looking for then you must have missed the sister part? It's called a mechanic and the price is on a positive note you just convinced me to purchase this awesome upgrade. Thank you
