The factory o2 housing on the 1.4 turbo Ecotec motor has been shown to be quite restrictive. Our 2.5" Stainless steel high-flow version has been dyno proven to produce gains of up to 8 horsepower at the wheels. This is a gain of more than 6 percent! This easy bolt-on modification re-uses the factory V-band clamp where it attaches to the turbo. Comes with everything needed to install just replacement bolts and nuts. Dec 2014: It comes with 2 o2 bungs, and a plug in case you want to add a wideband o2 sensor later.

Note: This O2 housing does not include a catalytic converter, we move the cat to our mid pipe if you have a Cruze, or the Secondary Cat Section if you have a Sonic, if you do not install our midpipe or 2nd cat section with this product it will set check engine light without ECU programming.

For a complete street setup that does not require ECU programming, see our O2 housing/mid pipe combo. This part fits the 1.4 Chevy Sonic, Cruze, and Buick Encore.

We recommend replacing the v-band clamp while installing the O2 housing since they are a common failure point.

Installed on Cruze sound clip

Verified fitment on 1.4L Turbo Vanderhall Venice.

Updated 6.14.2020 to no longer include bracket.

We are currently offering $60 in store credit to purchase your stock catalytic converter back from you (only the primary cat on the 1.4, not the mid-pipe). If you're interested, take a photo of your stock downpipe and email it to Henry@zzperformance.com. We will provide prepaid shipping labels for domestic (U.S.) shipments.

High Quality

The removal of the old down pipe was the hardest part due to it being big and having a lot of nuts in hard to get places. The new down pipe was a breeze to install though as I suspected it would be. It bolted right up to the stock mid pipe without issues. It runs great and so far no check engine light for the now missing catalytic converter.

ZZP Catless Downpipe

Amazing product! The welds are A1 and it makes a big improvement in throttle response and the turbo spools up faster. Install was very easy once the old downpipe was out. Getting the old downpipe out is a bit tricky because of the hidden 10mm bolt on the mounting bracket, but this is the fault of GM not ZZP. If the bolt starts spinning rather than coming out, I recommend trying to get a needle nosed vice grip on the other side of the bolt to stop it from spinning while you wrench it out. Shipping to Canada was other worldly fast, especially with the pandemic. It came in 2 days!!! Excellent product and amazing customer service! Thanks ZZP!!

My ZZP downpipe

Fast and easy install! Huge difference in the sound, sounds almost like a turbo diesel. Not to mention the feel in the gains is awesome for a simple part.
