Rear Trans Mount

Transmission & Drivetrain - Rear Trans Mount

This is our 2nd generation billet aluminum with solid rubber bushing mounts. Using a solid rubber bushing keeps them from creating vibration like the poly mounts have from being too stiff however they still drastically reduce wheel hop. These mounts are lighter than stock and are a great upgrade. These mounts are used in the hardest launching Cobalt/Ion Redlines in our market including Ryan's 06 which has achieved 1.5 60' times and Matt's LNF, which has done 1.6 60 foots. This is a stock replacement mount, we also offer our rotated version for lowered cars here.

Will not fit 2.2L cars. Also fits 5 speed HHR! Will not fit on automatic cars.

Improves start

Definitely better off the line after replacing front and rear trans mounts. Looking forward to replacing engine mount when back in stock.

5-10 min install with a lift and support holding tranny from moving. works exactly as it should. doesn't let the motor twist as much as stock. was a perfect fit.

Great mount

This took me about 1 hr to install at my shop (gotta love having a lift!) and its amazing how much it just tightens things up. Im still giving 5 stars however it should be known that if you already have a 3 inch downpipe you WILL need to remove it to clear the bolt that goes through the mount. People who still have the stock DP should be fine but i just wanted to give a heads up that you should do this particular mount first THEN do your downpipe. All and all another great ZZP product and next is the engine mount

Don’t believe all you read about this product.

I have been at this install for nearly 6 hours now. And by no means am i a ******* or do i lack the correct tools. I have worked on cars my whole life, and this product spec limits/tolerances were way off. I had to shave down the bushings. I dont blame ZZP for this , it seems to be an single isolated incident. Because i have not read anywhere of anyone else having the issues i am having with this part. I still don’t have the part bolt in yet, literally cant get the mount to line up for the through bolt. But also instructions with these parts would be nice. As for how the part feels in the car after install, can’t say. Still havent even got it in yet.

Great mount. Feels and looks like a very high quality part. Several years ago I installed the OTTP front and rear rotated mounts in my 08 Cobalt SS. My car is not lowered and ZZP recommended this one over the other option for lowered cars. I was a little concerned when I installed this because the OTTP mount was slightly longer (more rotated) and I didn't want to negatively affect the axle angles. However, after installation I am happy to say that ZZP knows what they are talking about! My axle angles are straight as straight. I installed this mount along with the front and upper engine mount as well and wow, what a difference! I couldn't be happier!
