Transmission & Drivetrain - ZZP Aluminum Flywheel-2.0L F35

This is a stock replacement flywheel that is made of aluminum. It has a replaceable friction surface for when the clutch needs to be replaced in the future. The factory flywheel weighs 19.5# and our ZZP flywheel only weighs 8.5#. That is a lot of rotational weight to lose, this will reduce parasitic loss and improve shift feel due to the RPMs being able to drop faster so the synchros will mesh better. Any LSJ/LNF based pressure plate and disc assembly will bolt up to this flywheel. Only works on the 8 bolt 2.0 liter crank and F35 5 speed transmission.

Would spend the money a second time if I had to!

I made a fairly large purchase from ZZP to swap in an LDK block in my 08 Cobalt and everything worked out perfectly thanks to ZZP! This project had to be done during the Coronavirus outbreak and ZZP was still able to get me what I needed and provided excellent support for all of it! Couldn't be more happy with how everything worked out

It's a Lighter Stock Replacement!

After blowing up my '06 SS/SC last fall, I just complete an engine swap but decided to go balls out on the rest of it. Paired this flywheel with a brand new GM Upgraded Clutch, and the engine now feels more responsive. It's still very easy to drive, but you need to be quicker when rev matching and shifting. Makes it glorious to drive! The OEM flywheel bolts work, and clutch engagement is about the same as it was before the swap. The replaceable faceplate is a bonus for when the time comes to replace the clutch.
