The ZZPerformance ATS-V intercooler bleed tank kit is the easiest way to ensure your intercooler system stays completely full and free of trapped air. Mounted higher than any other point in the intercooler circuit, it acts as the system's highest fill and bleed point, making it simple to purge air and maintain proper coolant flow.
The factory LF4 intercooler system can be difficult to bleed completely, allowing air pockets to remain trapped after service. These air pockets can reduce cooling efficiency, decrease performance, and in some cases cause the intercooler pump to lose prime, resulting in increased intake air temperatures and reduced boost consistency.
Our reservoir provides a constant coolant supply to the intercooler pump while making future maintenance quick and straightforward. Installation is simple, and once installed, you'll have added confidence that your intercooler system is operating at peak efficiency whether you're on the street or at the track.
