Our HQ is located in Grand Rapids MI. We have dealt with issues from rusting and road conditions as each of our platforms ages. A very common issue we have ran into is the delta chassis fuel line. There is a bend in the OEM fuel line near the rear tire that goes up over the rear beam covered in a fiberglass heatshield. Unfortunately, this catches lots of road gunk and salt, then gets wet and eats through your fuel line. People have tried patching the line, or replacing the entire thing. These replacement lines are getting very difficult to find, and are not easy to install. Another issue is the fuel filters seize to the clips, and can make disconnecting the fittings impossible in some cases.
We came up with a solution after running into the problem on our own in house shop cars. Everything in this kit will replace your entire fuel line with entirely upgraded parts. Your fuel feed will be converted to E85 safe -6an PTFE line. We're also including a filter in this kit, as it's not worth to trouble trying to reuse the old one, and it's always safe insurance to get that replaced to keep your engine healthy and happy.
We recommend this kit for any 2.2, 2.4, or 2.0 LSJ cars as preventative maintenance for your eventual line break, improved fuel condition with a new filter, and a safe way to run e85 ethanol up to your fuel rail.
This kit is awesome! Came with everything I needed to get my LSJ back up and running. The install process was a smooth as butter. 10/10 recommend this to any one with a delta chassis car for sure. You won’t be let down!
Got my stuff today, got delivered quickly. Can't wait to put all the parts on, waiting on a couple other things before line installation-- I'll come back to update!
Pretty simple install. The clips can be a bit hard for some people to close back on the new fuel line. I advise watching the video posted on their YouTube of the fuel line kit install for new learners. I just want to add one tip to cover the open ends of the fuel line till you're ready to attach them to the vehicle in their proper position so no debris gets into the fuel system.
