Our new ZZP race head studs for the LF3/LF4 engine were specifically designed with a larger center shank to provide better longevity and the ability to make high horsepower more reliably.
The stock head bolts are torque to yield and should not be re-used. Whether you're building a long block, changing head gaskets, or just want to reinforce for more boost these head studs are exactly what you'll need. Our ZZP studs can be re-used and include everything necessary for installation.
ZZP race head stud = 11mm
Original ZZP head stud = 10.24mm
This custom ZZP head stud kit is designed specifically to fit the 3.6L LF3 and LF4 engine found in the Cadillac ATS-V, Cadillac CTS V-Sport, Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing, and Cadillac XTS V-Sport. You will not find this kit anywhere else as it was designed and manufactured exclusively for ZZPerformance.
All studs into the engine block before installing the nuts.
Torque the nuts to the following:
- 1st pass 25 ft/lbs
- 2nd pass 50 ft/lbs
- 3rd pass 90 ft/lbs
