ZZP is proud to bring to you another manufactured in house aluminum heat exchanger(radiator) for your LSJ car. The LSJ engine uses a M62 supercharger to add boost and the LSJ lower intake has a laminova style intercooler system built into it. The car comes from the factory with a Bosch intercooler pump which cycles water from the heat exchanger through the laminova cores and back. This will cool the outlet air from the supercharger. The factory exchanger is small and doesn't hold very much coolant, the ZZP unit is larger and holds more coolant and in turn will keep your boost temps down resulting in more power.

    • Drill 4 holes into existing bumper support
    • Overall measurements of 32.5x6.5x2.25
    • Core measurements of 28x6.5x2.25
    • 2 row, dual pass
    • Maximum cooling, minimum weight, fully tig welded and pressure tested
    • 2 stainless bolts and nuts
    • Includes 2 fittings and 4 hose clamps
    • 49" of 3/4" hose
    • 6.4 pounds
    • 1.8 liters of capacity
    • 4000 sq. in. of fin area

This unit is made to work with your factory intercooler although it could be used to replace the factory one. It is not affected by the installation of a dual pass kit and works with or without dual pass. The unit installs by removing one hose from the factory cooler and going into this one. Then you go out of this cooler, into the factory cooler on the fitting where you removed the hose.

It now comes with our new ZZP logo in black.

Great quality great welds way better than stock good fitment only had one complaint nothing serious a couple of the fans were already damaged upon delivery but they will get damaged as I drive regardless so not a big deal

Not bad

I bought this a couple of years ago with my stage 3 kit. Overall it looks good on the car and is a solid product. Mine did come with some bent fins which are impossible to straighten out. Mine also came with the inlet and outlet on the passenger side rather than the driver side as pictured. That made the install a bit more of a pain with the plumbing. I also just recently bought the zzp intercooler hose kit they now offer. I was able to use some of the hoses but because my inlet and outlet are on the opposite side there were a few hoses I couldn't use. Definitely a bummer but I will live.

S3 heat exchanger great upgrade

This heat exchanger works very well to keep AIT2 temps lower after multiple hard pulls. Makes the temps recover much faster then the stock setup. A very worth while upgrade for LSJ cobalts. This in conjunction with option B and dual pass end plate really helps control the intake air temps after the super charger. The install was not to bad the instruction give you details on how to install. The plastic 90 degree elbows can be a bit of pain to install and can strip of not careful. So I bought brass ones. But overall a good product and good upgrade for more consistent intake air temps(ait2)
