This is our ZZPerformance Northstar throttle body for the 3800 platform. On any positive displacement supercharger, like the M90 used on the 3800, removing intake restrictions and increasing flow goes a long way when it comes to making more power. The Northstar measures 75mm at the blower opening, making it the largest and best flowing direct bolt on option for Gen 3 and Gen 5 M90 superchargers.
With the OEM throttle bodies long discontinued the previous solution was to source a junkyard or used throttle body for the swap. We set out to have a brand new casting made to make the swap simple, easy, and affordable. There may be other new options on the market now, but they will not function correctly on the 3800 engine. Our throttle body includes a custom laser cut bracket for the throttle cable as well.

This is the throttle body itself along with the throttle cable bracket. To complete the swap onto your Gen 3 or Gen 5 supercharger you will need the correct adapter plate, found here, along with the LQ4 MAF and coinciding harness adapters found here.
