ZZP Rear Power Log

Exhaust - ZZP Rear Power Log
Exhaust - ZZP Rear Power Log

Here it is, finally a fully fabricated high flow rear exhaust manifold to replace our discontinued Ported Rear Manifold! It is fully stainless steel and will outlast the car. It bolts in place of the stock rear manifold. It comes with new bolts and nuts for both connections.

It will work perfectly with our front Power Log. It will not perform as well as our full length Stainless Headers, but it sure takes a lot less time to install.

For turbo 3800 cars:
Since the Z3 and CarTuning turbo kits require the OEM rear manifold for the wastegate perch, this will work with both of those turbo kits. However, if you are running our Z7 or Stattama turbo kit, you would run the Turbo Rear Power Log instead. Those turbo kits have the wastegate perch on the crossover pipe.

Since this manifold doesn't have the recessed ring in the flange like the stock manifold does, we recommend using a 2 bolt 3" flat gasket instead.

Only fits W-Body.

Fits Lacrosse, but in 08-09 the crossover was different, so you would need to run an older style crossover. Will not fit Lucerne.

Awesome Rear Plog

Awesome fit with the Arp bolts and looks good. Had a bit of trouble with the bolt holes not being in the accurate position but nothing a hole stretcher couldn't handle.

Great Parts

Had to remove on the 6th bolt because the holes were a little off, but nothing a die grinder couldn't handle. Over all a wonderful piece.

Must Buy

Great fitment on a 98 GTP engine. I recommend oem metal gaskets, not a fan of the mesh ones, Id also suggest buying new manifold bolts and studs, and last spend the money just buy the EGR plate. Not sure if i used the hardware wrong but the bolts supplied were to long for the cross over pipe. ZZP was helpful with the gaskets I needed for the down pipe. I have the front power log and love the rear one. ZZP shipping was next day delivery. Most of many purchases.

Fitment issues

The welds and looks of this rear power log are very nice Unfortunately the fitment was terrible. One of the ****** bolts was off. I had to grind the hole a lot in order to get the plog to fit properly. All of the other holes were ok. Another issue is the crossover fl@nge neck needs to be longer in order to fit the crossover pipe properly. I am having a hard time getting it to seal properly.

Looks great...sounds even better

Some time ago, I purchased the front powerlog...worked out great. After a while I contracted an exhaust leak to my rear the obvious choice was to get the matching manifold. The gripe that I have is the bend for the egr was not the same as the O.E. which ****** because it was such a pain to connect it. I did get my car sound great. Supercharger whine is great and power is back up and running...will continue to purchase upgrades from here.
