"Stage 2 LSJ" is for smaller pulley (3.1" and lower) M62 cars.

"Stock LSJ" is the stock OE length belt for the Cobalt SS and Ion Redline. 

"400" is the stock replacement belt for LNF, LE5, L61, LSJ (turbo) with Air Conditioning.

"390" is for your LSJ turbo converted car or LNF, LE5, L61 car with an ATI underdrive pulley.

"345" is the stock replacement belt for LNF, LE5, L61, LSJ (turbo) without Air Conditioning. Or if you were to remove your AC compressor.

"705" is the most common belt for our 2.2/2.4 supercharger kit.

For 20 years ZZPerformance has engineered products to give you an advantage in your race builds. Setting records has meant finding small advantages where we can. ZZP was the first to run 10's in a 3800, we hold the M90 supercharger record. We own one of the industries only supercharger dynos. In the LSJ market where you are limited to 6 ribs, ZZP holds the M62 dyno record. An OEM or aftermarket brand serpentine belt is meant to last as long as possible which leads to only being cost effective, but often times decreased performance. These attributes do not match the priorities we have and to meet our needs we designed our own line of belts.

Working with a major OE manufacture of belts, we experimented with various compounds until we achieved success. A belt with less slip under maximum load giving us a competitive advantage over builds using GM or Dayco or any off the shelf brand of belt. Just another in the long line of custom engineered products now available to you. If you're not running a ZZP belt, you're leaving a little HP on the table.

Stage 2 Belt notes

This belt was designed for use with GM's original stage kits which come with a 3.1" pulley. Running pulleys smaller than this works because of the Cobalt's tensioner but there are things to keep in mind:

1. A smaller pulley means the belt isn't as tight because it will have more slack.

2. A smaller pulley has less surface for the belt to grip

3. Smaller pulleys produce more boost, which in turn requires more HP to turn the blower. This additional HP increases the chance of belt slippage.

Ideally, this belt is used with a 3.1" pulley. A 3.0 is quite fine. As you go smaller problems can arise and it's recommended to use our adjustable tensioner instead of the smaller belt. Another option is using our oversized tensioner pulley with the smaller belt. We have seen belt failures with nearly all 2.7 and 2.6" pulley users who only run a smaller belt. We have seen many failures with 2.8" pulley users as well.
