Billet dog bone mounts to shorter billet dog bone mounts
Obviously only difference is the length so it still looks great. Definitely helped out with the vibrations and small shakes I was feeling while driving! I haven’t had a problem with ZZPERFORMANCE yet!
Short aluminum dog bone mounts
Way better than stock mounts, Engine doesn’t move when giving throttle
Made a world of difference
I have a 02 monte carlo and I know that my bushings have warn out. So with replacing the bushings with the ZZP polly bushings I also replaced the stock dog bones with the ZZP shorter billet dog bones. This made the cars vibration problem I was having from the old bushings and mounts go away and brought back power. On launches I don't spin as much anymore and I don't notice alot of vibration like some people say with the polly bushings. Now there was a hard time getting the center of the bushing to go into the rubber in the dog bones. The best way I found after trial and error were to put both the rubber part of the bushings in with some kind of lubricant (I used red Greece) and then compress the center of the bushings into it. Thank you again ZZP for another wonderful and well made product
My stock dog bones were worn out and the engine moved all over the place. The shorter ones were a pain to get in but once installed it brings the engine forward a considerable amount. I also noticed it stiffened up the front end a little bit.
Went right on with no problems. Pulled engine forward about 2 inches
