ZZP Sonic Lowering Springs

These lowering springs will maintain a comfortable ride, without causing axle wobble, wearing out your axles and having the dreaded "pogo" feel. They will drop the front and rear about 1 1/4" inch.
They fit 2012+ Sonic.

Spring install was a piece of cake. These dropped the car to a solid stance and after taking it for a spin with the new springs and ZZP sway bar i noticed A great increase in grip through turns and the ride is just as comfortable over bumps as stock.
I cannot describe to you how much of an upgrade these springs are. My sonic feels a lot tighter in corners and I can approach at a much higher speed with more confidence. This could also be the work of the rear sway bar that I installed at the same time (you should too if you were thinking about doing both since the pocket to attach the bracket is under the rear springs). The ride feels the same, maybe slightly more rough (and I mean barely rougher). Well worth the money! Side note: Make sure you do proper research on the tools you need and that you have a 24mm strut nut socket to properly torque the struts in the front. They are crucial and will save you time. Also check to see if your strut nuts are rusted to the threads. Even my car, which has lived its whole life in FL, had really bad rust on the driver side strut. Had to dremel both the top nut and lock nut off the driver side. Current theory is that it receives the brunt of the water from the windshield wipers. Make sure you chop off the bottom third of the bump stops as well to help the ride quality. Well done ZZP!
The springs lower the car about an inch and a half, but it’ll be lower once the springs settle. The rears are easy to install. The variable spring goes in the rear with the tighter part on top. The fronts took a bit more time, since you need a spring compressor. Replacing the front strut mounts and all 4 shocks would really improve the ride. However, I have noticed a much better and more solid ride after replacing the springs alone.
Very cool.Rears were a snap, fronts were a little tricky for me.OveraLL VERY satisfied with every thing. Looks "Bad",surprising what an inch and a half .will do Handling seems to be a bit tighter too.Love your products.
