This is a preprepared package of mods for your 2.0L ATS. It includes our PCM Tune, Cold Air Intake, and Downpipe. The tune will modify the factory PCM file for extra horsepower and performance, the cold air intake will decrease intake air temps and reduce inlet restriction, and allow you to hear the turbo whistle, the downpipe will free up exhaust flow for more horsepower. This package should give you an additional 60 horsepower over stock and you will lose nothing, in fact the car will run and drive even better than before along with better MPGs. Very easy install, it should take less than 2 hours to install the entire kit.  The tune that is included is not a "mail order tune" this is a full remote tune.  This means each customers car is specifically tuned for their mod, their fuel, etc.

    Tune:

    The ZZP 2.0 turbo PCM brings the performance of your car to a whole new level. We go through and rework dozens of tables based on countless dyno tuning with our own vehicles. We own 5 ATS' enabling us to dial in our tuning better than any other company in this market.

    • Variable valve timing optimized for better response and more power
    • Fuel cutoff rpm limit increased
    • Power enrichment tables adjusted for a more consistent air fuel ratio
    • Spark timing optimized for premium fuel
    • Driver demand and torque tables adjusted for greater performance
    • Turbocharger settings adjusted for more boost
    • Fuel injection timing adjusted for higher airloads
    • Fuel pressure raised at high loads
    • Coolant thermostat settings adjusted for cooler engine temps
    • Fan settings lowered for cooler engine temps
    • PE engagement time is reduced
    • 40HP gain over stock file on Premium fuel
    • Enable active Flex Fuel in PCM for our ATS E85 Flex Fuel Conversion Kit

    Note: Prepaid return labels for interface/laptop rentals are only included with domestic shipments.   

    Core Options

    • Sending in Core First: With this option you are going to send us your PCM from your vehicle. This route retains remote start since you will be using your original PCM. If you have a 17+ auto car you will need to get your TCM unlocked through HPTuners and send that in with your PCM. We also offer fully unlocked TCM's for $349.99, which can be found HERE. With this option your intake and downpipe will be held until we receive your PCM, then everything will be sent back in one shipment. This is not a cookie cutter "canned tune" as many online would make it seem, this is a ground up tune built around your modifications.

    • Send Me a New Core: We can ship you a new PCM core that is already flashed with our file.  The benefit of this, is that you can keep your stock PCM to reinstall if you need to bring your car in for warranty work.  The disadvantages are a: that if you have remote start, it will disable it. (This applies to 13-17 ATS, CTS) and b: if you have a '16+ manual trans car, you will have to go to the dealer and get a clutch relearn.

    • Rent/Purchase Interface and/or Interface & Laptop: This option is known as remote tuning. With this option you will receive either the HPTuners MPVI2 interface or the interface and laptop, based on what option you chose. Our tuner will then be in contact with you throughout the whole tuning process. You will read your stock file, send it in, which the tuner will then put together a base tune. You will then go out and data log the car and send that back to the tuner; they'll make revisions and send back. You will go back and forth until you're both satisfied. When tuning is done, you can return the interface/laptop, and you are refunded the interface/laptop core charge (deposit).  Since you are keeping your stock PCM core, this will retain your remote start feature.  If you do not rent our laptop, you will need a Windows based laptop to read/write your ECU.  The advantage of using ours is that it comes pre-configured with the tuning and scanning software required so you can simply charge the laptop, power it up and get started immediately. We highly recommend keeping the HPTuners interface as it's a great tool for data logging, clearing check engine lights, and if you ever want to re-tune down the road you do not need to re-credit with the same MPVI. 

    • I own HPTuners Email Me a File: This option is for customers who already own an HPTuners interface, and will follow our remote tuning process. You will still need to purchase credits to unlock your PCM and TCM if you have not done so. We sell credits HERE

    ZZP Flex Fuel Conversion Kit: No, not installed. Yes, Enable ZZP Flex Kit. - Do not select this unless you are installing this kit at the exact same time as the PCM. If you add the kit later you can order our PCM Update to enable the flex kit in the file later. NOTE: Flex fuel is available for all model year LTG's as of February 2020. 

    Cold Air Intake: If you are looking for an entire replacement intake tube and air box, here is our 2.0 liter LTG cold air intake. It is made of aluminum to keep it nice and lightweight. The air box will make sure that the air filter is drawing cool air in instead of hot under hood air. Very easy install, it will take around 15 minutes or less, no tuning required.

    Downpipe: This o2 housing bolts directly to the turbo's outlet and then bolts to the factory downpipe. It is 3" in diameter, an o2 bung for your factory o2 sensor, and 100% stainless steel. The outlet flange is tapped just like the factory o2 housing for ease of install, you will not have to deal with trying to hold the bolt when tightening the nut in the tight engine bay.

    Stage 2 kit here. It adds our Intercooler kit and catback exhaust to this kit making it a full Stage 2 car.

    Amazing!!! Sounds Fantastic!!!

    After parts installed noticeable HP gain. The sound from the intake is better than having the radio on. After the basic tune from Matt at ZZPerformance the car is much faster. Excited to see what they can do in the future. Updates to come. Highly recommend!!!!! Worth every penny!!!

    Great tuning experience. 02 sensor issue

    The parts were high quality. The tuning experience was great. Downside: the downpipe has a 02 sensor extender that makes the downstream 02 sensor hit the floorpan. After first install, the 02 sensor broke throwing a p0138 code. Fix: purchased new 02 sensor and installed without the 02 sensor extension.

    Significant improvement !!

    Had the stage 1 kit installed on my 2015 ATS 2.0L coupe. It definitely inhanced the overall driving experience. It’s great off the line! Tubing was done by turbo Tim. He’s surely an expert. Customer service was great. I would recommend this to everyone. The CIA is a touch loud for my taste with windows open. But for those who want a sporty sound I’m sure it’s great for them. With windows closed and ac on, it’s barely noticeable. The performance gains are more than worth it!!! THANK YOU ZZP!!

    Parts were of decent quality, tuning experience was ****

    We are a professional performance shop and ordered the stage 1 and 2 kit for a customer's ATS. The part quality was on par for the price and installation was fairly straight forward, everything mechanically went smoothly. In fact, the only issue we had with parts was the cold air intake tube was not quite the right size and needed to be shaved a bit. We had the kit for about 2 weeks before the appointment and never had anyone contact us about the tune. So the day of the appointment, we pull the file from the vehicle and email customer service about where to send the file. They told me a tuner should have contacted us and someone will shortly. Fast forward to end of day, someone gets back to us and we send the file. Nothing until end of day next day, which is fine, but the tune was WAY off. Car was pinging like crazy, multiple CEL's and was just off. Car is bone stock besides the parts they supplied. We opened the file and saw we were hitting 17lbs of boost with the computer trying to dump fuel to compensate. Tuner swears we have a vacuum/boost leak (while hitting 17lbs) which was not the case. He then goes silent for 5 days with no notice because he took some time off. He then sends us a file for a camaro that wont load. At this point we ditched him and finished the tune ourselves and it runs great now. No codes, no pinging. It didn't even take much to make it happy. No idea what happened but we were entirely unsatisfied with the tuning process. With how many of these kits they sell, its **** to believe they don't just have files for a stock ATS with only their parts on. And then to get a file for a camaro? Tuner is either trying to copy and paste canned tunes from somewhere else or has no idea what he is doing, probably both. Either way, never again.

    Adds some power, but beware you'll need to clearance your floorpan and the tuner is unprofessional

    This was a kit for my fathers new ATS. I recommended ZZP since they generally know the platform and I have worked with them before. Pros: - Fairly easy engine to work on - Adds some decent power on 93 - Gives a factory-like appearance under the hood - Can hear fun BOV noises through the intake filter now when the car shifts Cons: - Post-cat O2 sensor bung sticks straight up and will hit the floorpan unless you take an air-hammer to clearance the floorpan. I recommend moving the bung over maybe 20deg to fix the issue in the future. There's room between the pipe and engine to accommodate moving it. - A bit tricky to plug in the MAF under the steel CAI cover (cord was pretty short from the factory, not much room to get my hands in there. Cover was pinching wrist as you're attempting to plug it in. Maybe it's just me, but a MAF extension would definitely make this less tricky, especially if you're removing the air filter for regular cleanings - Cold starts, there's a loud air gushing sound for maybe 20 secs~ that sounds like a giant vacuum leak where the air filter is at. I imagine it's noise generated by the turbo that is hidden by the factory airbox. - There's a seemingly large communication problem between customer service and tuning dept. I've had this issue before where people aren't reading the full emails written and answering ALL questions. Mind you I never typically ask more than 3 questions per email, but since these are mods to the cars, it's best to be as informed as possible by the "experts" that make these kits. Maybe it's too much to ask and you're just expected to blindly purchase things and see how it goes? - Asked tuner if we could disable auto-start, he said we could try it but it might cause weird idle issues. When we got the tune it didn't do anything to disable the feature and car idled fine, so when we asked about implementing disabling it he changed his mind and said we couldn't do it even though we never tried. - Tuner was emailed on a Monday, asked for update following Friday and was berated by the tuner for being impatient. Needs to work in his attitude and professionalism. This was my fathers first experience with this company and he was excited to mod one of his first modern vehicles, spent $1,000 to get a feel for the quality of parts and get to know the people he's giving his money to. He had plans to do stage 2, big turbo kit, etc but the **** customer service and unprofessionalism by the tuner completely turned him off I doubt this will get published since it's not a glorifying 5/5 review. The kit itself is maybe a 4/5 due to having to modify the floorpan, and difficulty installing the MAF connector, but dropped to 3 due to the **** experience with ZZP personnel. My intent is not to berate, but to point out any possibilities where there is room for improvement. Take this review for what it's worth
