Ceramic Coated Crossover Pipe

Exhaust - Ceramic Coated Crossover Pipe
Exhaust - Ceramic Coated Crossover Pipe
Our ceramic coated crossover pipes are a great stand alone product or a perfect addition to cars with ported manifolds or our power log. By coating the crossover on the outside, exhaust temperatures are kept in the system. This keeps velocity high and under hood temps low. The throttle body located just above the crossover stays much cooler as well.

Our ceramic coating is a step above industry standard. It boasts the highest heat shielding available in a ceramic coating and stands up to even the most aggressive turbo applications.

Also known as: Cross Pipe, Cross over pipe.

Only fits W-Body cars. G/H Body cars use a different crossover and rear manifold.

Great Pipe

This is a great ceramic coated crossover pipe, with the heat shield still on it. I put mine in my '05 Pontiac GP GTP Comp G, with the stock iron manifolds. It really helps to lower engine bay temps by radiating far less heat than stock. You can even touch it at operating temp, on the coated heat shield, for a second or two, without burning your finger. I decided to get this, because the crossover pipe is so close to the throttle body that it most certainly helps heat it up and generally helps heat up the engine bay excessively. I believe that the throttle body runs cooler, now, too, and engine response/exhaust flow is better than it least it feels like it is. When I rev the engine in park, the exhaust sounds nicer and the engine revs smoother, but I do have a better aftermarket resonator on it which helps, too. Installation for me was a pain. The bolts up toward the front of the engine that attach to the exhaust manifold ****** are fairly easy to remove, but the studs toward the rear are not so easy....when the exhaust is cold, that is. I made a rookie mistake and took them off when the exhaust was cold, and the rear studs snapped, naturally. I got lucky with the front bolts and they didn't snap. I had to drill out the studs and get new ones, which are not easy to find and are relatively expensive (ZZPerformance DOESN'T sell these, but I wish they would!). I think they're about 3" long, 8mm, 1.25mm threads. Anyway, I HIGHLY recommend that you get the exhaust to operating temp before attempting to remove the front bolts or rear studs. The manifold iron expands and makes the bolts/studs easier to remove and less likely to snap. If you do this, the install should be fairly quick and easy. Finally, my pipe came ceramic coated in silver, which I actually prefer vs. black like in the picture; it looks better in the engine bay. Also, the pipe and heat shield on it were in very good condition, really in a "like-new" condition....No dents or anything of that nature. Yet another high-quality part from ZZPerformance. Highly recommend.

Good add on to power logs.

Just installed front and rear power logs, with the ceramic coated crossover, everything fit well with minimal fitment issue. So far so good.

Not a bad upgrade

Good quality. Can tell it’s a old stock crossover that’s been cleaned up and professionally ceramic coated. I’m happy with my purchase it should go well with my ceramic coated powerlogs
