2.2/2.4L Bolt on Supercharger Kit

This is a complete bolt on supercharger kit for your FWD 2.2 or 2.4L Ecotec engine. It can come with everything needed (if supercharger/throttlebody/intake is selected) to install except the tools! Every piece of this kit is now brand new, no more used components are included.


  • Custom ZZP modular pulley system with 3.1" pulley
  • 60# EV6 Siemens injectors
  • TB adapter harness
  • MAF extension
  • 2 bar MAP sensor (included in vehicles 04-07)
  • 4 bar MAP sensor (Included on vehicles 08+)
  • Serpentine belt
  • ZZP intake tube with K&N filter
  • ZZP Alternator spacer
  • ZZP idler stand with idler pulley
  • Valve cover breather
  • Bosch IC pump & mounting bracket
  • ZZP S3 heat exchanger
  • All nuts, bolts, gaskets, fittings, and hoses needed
  • Instructions and parts checklist

    Optional items:

    • M62 Supercharger (out of stock at ZZP - must source on your own)
    • LSJ throttle body
    • LSJ lower intake using Laminova intercooler  (out of stock at ZZP - must source on your own)

    This is setup to use a stock LSJ throttle body because it is larger than the stock throttle body and will bolt right on. If you want to use your stock throttle body, you will need the following components:

    • '06-07 2.4L – TB adapter harness
    • '08+ 2.4L – 6 to 8 pin adapter harness
    • 2.2L – TB extension harness

    MAP Sensor notes: '06/07 2.4 comes with a 2 bar MAP, '08-10 2.4L and '07-10 2.2L comes with a 4 bar MAP. Custom PCM programming is required to change the MAP sensor, it is included in our PCM file. '05/06 2.2 comes without a MAP sensor because we don't offer tuning for those years.

    Stock LSJ part modifications needed: The inlet pressure sensor hole on the LSJ m62 must be plugged or leave the sensor installed but not plugged in. The TMap hole on the intake manifold must also be plugged or leave the factory sensor installed but not plugged in.

    *ECU PROGRAMMING REQUIRED - We can tune the 07+ 2.2 and the 06+ 2.4 liter engines, however you would need to purchase our Performance tune and send in your core to read/tweak/reflash and return.  Click here for our Performance ECM.

    These kits are made per order, it can take up to 2-3 weeks to ship.

    *As of 8/21/2020 we do not have used M62 superchargers or LSJ intake manifolds available for purchase. You will need an Eaton M62 and LSJ intake manifold to complete this kit. 

    Does not fit RWD 2.4 applications.

    Worth the wait

    Well I ordered this kit back let say maybe mid September we’re now we’re in late November finally completed my project. Tyler sent the kit out first minus the Heat Exchanger there was a delay on fabrication due to this Covid pandemic. Recvd the heat exchanger yesterday Friday and worth the wait installation was easy Inhad the hoses and pump already connected routed and ready. All I can say is worth the wait and Thanks to Kyle also I didn’t forget about you either you both rock.

    This is one **** of a kit (in a good way)

    Everything came perfect nothing damaged, broke, kn clean packaging so I thank zzp and the post. Everything was really organized in the boxes of what goes with what. The only real thing I had a problem with is that the installation Hardware such as the main bolts are all hex head which makes it a bit of a pain. But they work well and the threads are nice. Everything came together with about 4 days and this was my first ever time doing something this big and it was a fun project and pretty simple for the most part.

    Great kit, just wish I could call

    I wanted some extra horses out of my 2.4 NA cobalt and decided to go with this kit. Haven't had it on the dyno yet, but it is night and day difference. I'm starting to worry for my clutch with all the new power. Very thorough and well put together kit with helpful instructions and a few pictures. The kit worked perfectly, but I had some issues with the used intake manifold I had purchased (not from ZZP) and couldn't seem to get the K&N air filter to fit under the hood without being smashed. ZZP has terrific customer service, but it would be worlds easier if I could call them instead.

    SC 2.2L Sunfire

    Ordered this kit for my 05 Sunfire and it bolted right on without any issues. Since this kit is made for the cobalt/ion you won’t be able to use some of the parts. For anybody wanting to put this kit in a sunfire/cavalier you will need a throttle body adapter to use the stock throttle body and multec2 to ev6 injector harness adapters. Other than that it all goes on very smoothly

    07 Cobalt SS 2.4L SC!

    Bought the kit a year ago, wanted to put some KMs on the car to really see what she is made of before I do a review. The kit is really great if you want some quick horsepower. It comes with everything you will need but the oil dipstick tube for the LSJ motors. It was pretty simple to put together, however some mechanic knowledge did help alot. The only real issue I had was tuning it. The place I went to, local to me had a hard time figuring out the injectors specs as there is very little information about them, luckily ZZP Support was really quick to send the specs and the tune was done. The car makes over 110 HP over stock and so far lasted 15000kms in the harsh weather up north. Just got a full ZZP exhaust system (long header w/ 2.5" catback). Let's see how much HP I can scrap up. Overall, I am very happy with the product!
