Regal LDK
The clutch has been great so far holds very well! My only thing is the chatter, it’s obnoxious and gets really annoying. If you don’t mind chatter this clutch is perfect!
Strong
Hold 400whp no problem but as stated it does chatter which get annoying at times
Great Kit
Pros: - no slipping, once engaged, the clutch is firm! - clutch engages faster (so more skill needed to start off, no problem for me w/ 20 yrs on a standard transmission) - no real change in force to engage the clutch - shifts are faster now - install requires a 4 wheel alignment, pro for better driving (because you remove front drivers side suspension to remove the transmission)Cons: - the single mass flywheel 'rattle' is loud inside/outside at idle - depending on a few parameters, the 'rattle' is louder etc while driving These include: - loud at idle, in neutral, clutch released, under ~1100 rpm - break in, after the 1st 100 miles, the noise was lower (this could be a pro) - cold, when cold, definitely louder - as the engine/transmission warms up, gets quieter - for some reason TBD, 3rd gear is louder while cruising (2k rpm etc); goes away with power applied before shift to 4thSide the stock dual mass flywheel is designed to quiet the system (lower vibrations etc) the performance single mass flywheel (while weighing less and yielding more hp) doesn't quiet the system. This is a trade off to keep in mind for your install. For pictures and more, see my notes and post at the URL below.
