Rollmaster timing sets are manufactured by Precision Cam Drives of Australia and feature the finest quality high tensile German made seamless roller chain. Precision machined single piece billet crank and cam sprockets, and nine position cam timing adjustability via multiple keyways on the crank sprocket (+/- 8 degrees in 2 degree increments). The adjustable timing gear set allows you to tune your cam timing for better peak power, or better low end torque (NOTE: it is recommended to check piston to valve clearances when changing cam timing. Failure to do so may result in serious engine damage). However if you are running any of our camshafts, please set the cam timing to zero.

The Single set is a direct drop in replacement for the factory timing set. Simply remove the factory crank, cam sprockets, and the chain, transfer your cam positioner magnet from the factory cam sprocket to the new roller sprocket, and install the new timing set. 

To run the Double roller, the balance shaft gear must be removed. To save additional weight the balance shaft could be removed altogether but this requires plugging the rear oiling hole. The Rollmaster double has a much tighter fit, so the factory timing chain tensioner is no longer used. Since this chain is wider, we recommend swapping your oil pump cover for our Machined version, and run our Extra Thick Front Cover Gasket this will give the chain more clearance.

Double chain sets are highly recommended for engines running aftermarket valve springs. 

The Cam position sensor magnet pushes in from the backside in the hole that is recessed.

more tight on crank shaft and on camshaft than the original one and great update for VS camshaft.

Roll master Double Timing Chain Set is Very High Quality

I am very impressed with the Rollmaster double timing chain set. The machining and manufacturing is of very excellent quality, with very tight tolerances, and built much better than the OEM timing set. There is no need for a tensioner, as the chain is tight once installed.

Very nice setup

A little tough in car install as cam key is at 5 O'Clock would have been easier if I'd done this when I did complete build cause it broke chain that was replaced at build so ended up with over sized valves runs very well zzp from the crank Pistons xp cam ls7 lifters zzp push rods rocker bolts all the good gaskets coolant tubes double row chain set (now) power logs 3 in downpipe w converter zzp tune 2500 stall still getting 27 mpg long cruise

Very well built timing chain set. Fits incredibly tight. It was fairly difficult to get it on but there is almost no play in the chain, and the timing marks are dead on.
