This is our 2nd generation billet aluminum with solid rubber bushing mounts. Using a solid rubber bushing keeps them from creating vibration like the poly mounts have from being too stiff however they still drastically reduce wheel hop. These mounts are lighter than stock and are a great upgrade. These mounts are used in the hardest launching Cobalt/Ion Redlines in our market including Ryan's 06 which has achieved 1.5 60' times and Matt's LNF, which has done 1.6 60 foots. This is a stock replacement mount, we also offer our rotated version for lowered cars here.


Will not fit 2.2L cars. Also fits 5 speed HHR! Will not fit on automatic cars.

I installed the ZZP front and rear transmission mounts on my Cobalt SS and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. I was originally worried about the additional noise and vibration that are noted in some reviews but when I first drove the car after the install I didn't notice any additional noise or vibrations but the nose stayed planted even under full throttle shifts. These mounts cured the off throttle rocking that really annoyed me as well. I'm really impressed with the results! The only additional vibration that I notice is when the clutch is released in first gear and I had to pay close attention to even notice it at all. I highly recommend these solid rubber mounts and they offer a vast improvement in driving dynamics compared to the stock ones. I would put these and the short throw shifter at the top of my mods list. Together they really helped transform even my pristine 55,000 mile car. Installing both of these mounts was a breeze. I did end up pulling the rear bracket down (I did not remove it completely and it has a wire connector attached to the top of it.) in order to install the actual mount and to remove the mounting bolt but everything fit neatly in place. It only requires very basic tools and a jack with two stands.

Soo Much Better!

Installed this and Front Mount, the difference is crazy, you instantly feel it. The car definitely feels more solid the moment you drive it, as far as vibrations go I feel a little bit in 1st gear and I mean a little it’s not bad at all (very tolerable) and after that it’s hardly even noticeable at all. Great product (LNF 340whp)

Improves start

Definitely better off the line after replacing front and rear trans mounts. Looking forward to replacing engine mount when back in stock.



5-10 min install with a lift and support holding tranny from moving. works exactly as it should. doesn't let the motor twist as much as stock. was a perfect fit.
