72# Valve Springs

6 reviews

This product is currently out of stock.

The Sonic and Cruze comes with very light valve springs from the factory.

Whenever you bump the rev limiter and/or boost the valve springs will start to float. This is bad for a few different reasons, it is hard on the valves/valve seats themselves, and it reduces power because the valves are not opening and closing properly like they should. When you install our ZZP valve springs, you will be able to rev the car out further and make power power up there. The stock valve springs are measured at 42# and these are 72#. We highly recommend bringing the car to us for the install, we designed a tool that will avoid having to remove the head to install them.

Valve Spring upgrade.

I had the cylinder head off when I installed these, be vary careful the valve keepers are really small. I recommend buying a few keepers before you do this upgrade. I did but did not need them.

These valve springs are a very nice upgrade from stock as those ones are weak and allow valve float in high boost

72# Valve Springs

I purchased these springs on ZZP's Black Friday sale. Got a great deal on them! I installed them last week and they make such a difference! The car pulls so much harder up top and does not valve float. These springs are a MUST with the Big Wheel Turbo kit. They benefit each other great. Another GREAT ZZP product to add to the list of all their other parts on my Cruze.
