Cannot be used on a Gen 2 '17+ Cruze.

You could go through our entire inventory and handpick the parts to improve your Sonic or Cruze, or you could get everything you need in one package of select performance equipment. The Stage 2 Kit is designed to dramatically improve power output and comes ready to install a cold air intake, performance tune, full turbo back exhaust, and a front mount intercooler kit to your Chevy Sonic or Cruze.  The tune that is included is not a "mail order tune" this is a full remote tune.  This means each customers car is specifically tuned for their mods, their fuel, etc.

Not only does the larger intercooler increase peak horsepower, but it also takes a lot more time to heat soak, so you will make more power for a lot longer than you would with the stock intercooler. The Stage 2 Kit will bolt on around 50 hp and 60 hp/ft lbs of torque.

We know that GM claims that you can run 87 octane, but even stock it is not enough octane for a boosted 1.4 engine. With this kit, premium 91+ octane is required. The tune can be adjusted for less octane, but it will reduce power output significantly.

Kit includes:

    How PCM is flashed:

Our PCM flash requires an HPTuners programming interface, which we can supply with instructions. A deposit is required for use of the interface, the core charge for which is refunded when it's returned.

A laptop with a Windows operating system is also required to complete the install. You can use your own or rent one from us. The advantage of using ours is that it comes pre-configured with scanning software and other tools to help us assist you if you have any questions or custom tuning requirements.

If you choose to keep the tuning interface and/or the laptop, that's fine. The core charge, in that case, will not be refunded. Core charges are based on 10 days and there will be additional charges if cables or laptops are kept for longer periods. After 30 days, core charges convert to purchases. Note: Prepaid return labels for interface/laptop rentals are only included with domestic shipments.

If using your own laptop for remote tuning, download the latest stable HPTuners VCM Suite here.

Product quality is second to none. These upgrades completely changes the car. Be sure to lay out your intercooler and piping before starting the install so you don't have to re-do any of the hoses ( take deep breaths because the throttle body hose is FUN to get on ).

Great. Everyone there is helpful. Great product. Still working out some gremlins after tuning. So yeah. Great learning experience for me and definitely going back to them for more parts. The tone of the exhaust is great too!!!

    Great!

To the point… Great upgrade. Overall a fairly easy install. The hardest part being removal of the front facia for the intercooler install. Which the new intercooler is about a big as it can be for the space, but is remarkably bigger than stock. There are however, even with the best adjustments I could make, some rub points for the piping. Nothing a little rubber chaffing material can't handle. The down pipe, which is damn pretty was easy to install but I did find I needed to replace my O2 sensor a couple of days later after throwing a code. Cold air intake makes a huge sound difference. The only slight downfall is because of its location, the ******* of air is very prominent on the passenger side inside the car. Exhaust install was a breeze. WD-40 for the hangers makes removal of old piping and muffler and install of new, way smother. I love the much deeper throatier sound she makes and I don't mind the slight gurgling every now and then. Very thankful it doesn't sound like a farty coffee can on the back of a Honda. Dual tip looks really nice and I like how it sticks out just a little. I will say after driving it it a couple of days, go back and verify your clamps are still nice and tight due to vibration. Computer upgrade was easy and Tim was very helpful in making sure I completely understood the process. Overall I see and feel a big difference in power. Here in the Pacific Northwest, there are a lot of hills and I am now finding I do not need to downshift nearly as much to get that extra umph. You can feel the torque more, and you can actually take off from 2nd with minimal effort. I'm very pleased with this upgrade and glad I didn't go with the other option out there which is simply a mail order universal flash. Great work to the entire ZZP team.
