This unit replaces the factory 2" mid pipe. This will bolt up to stock components or aftermarket. For best results exhaust size should be matched. This section has 3 bends, a flex section and the rear (secondary O2 bung. Upgrading this section of the exhaust does not affect emissions. This can be upgraded by itself or along with other sections of the exhaust. Upgrading this piece gives 3-4 HP. It does not require any type of tuning.

Continuation of RS build

Absolutely love this, the difference in sound alone has made this purchase worth it. Only downside, hardware to connect the mid pipe to the catback is not included.

Perfect upgrade for a broken stock flexpipe

I bought this to replace the stock mid pipe on my 2013 Sonic RS because the stock flex section broke. This piece fit perfectly in its place and it is very high quality. The walls and flanges of the ZZP midpipe are thicker than the stock piece and the welds are perfect. It bolted right up to the stock down pipe. This is a great upgrade over the stock 2" mid pipe.
