ZZPerformance has put together an inexpensive package that easily bolts up to your 97-2003 Grand Prix to provide improved stopping power. We don't know of any brake upgrade that offers this much for such a low price. We even include organic grease, so the install is easy with no trips to the hardware store. If you would rather have a dual piston caliper, you will want to look at our 12" FBody brake kit, 12.7" GXP brake kit, or 13" front brake kit.

Now the calipers come powdercoated red at no extra charge.

60 to 0 mph braking tests:

OEM brakes 132 ft.

12" brake upgrade 117 ft. (using standard 12" rotors, i.e. not slotted or cross drilled)

The kit includes all the hardware you need, including:

  • 2 powdercoated red assembled calipers & brackets
  • New rubber boots for the brackets
  • New caliper slides
  • 12" rotors (if selected)

Does not work with crosslace wheels.

Stainless brake lines are not required, but will compliment this brake upgrade kit very well.

UPS shipping only.

Well made

These brakes are well made, I got them along with the stainless lines and the 12" rear brake upgrade kit and have had them on about a month now. The other day I was driving behind my girlfriend and she slammed on her brakes to avoid hitting a cat, when I realized how close I was to hitting her I slammed on my brakes and stopped on a dime! I'm happy to know these brakes will keep me safe in an emergency situation and the new rotors are a nice improvement from my old warped rotors!

12" wbody front brake upgrade

I bought the kit but with standard rotors. The calipers look great and rotors really fill up my stock wheels. Stopping power is greatly improved. This is a good set up for a daily driven wbody! I just need to replace my 16 year old steel lines!!

Amazing

I want to keep a "classic" look on my Gen 7 Grand Prix throughout my mod map so I kept the stock 16s. I was worried I would regret not plus-sizing the wheels so I could fit a more robust brake setup, but that is just not the case. The increased stopping power provided by this kit is INSANE. Anyone with an NA GP should have two mods right off the bat: A solid CAI (I have an `04 so I got the Wizaird) and these front calipers. Spring for the slotted/drilled rotors while you`re at it, the combo makes for an amazing addition to the appearance and functionality. Thanks ZZP!

only needs labelling

These paired with powerstop rotors and z26 pads. Make for a very serious setup under stock 16s. If your car has over 100k i recommend that you do you master cylinder at the same time as well.
